Grady is a blue male that comes to us with a duel potential pedigree. Along with his blue colour comes much contraversy. This is because the blue colour is a disqualifying fault in the conformation ring . This has been the case for many years and as a result the blue coat colour trait has not been well bred in certain circles. This is a big concern for us as well. All of Grady's offspring will be completely registerable as he is registered with both the AKC and the CKC. These clubs also provide opportunity for titling any of his silver pups in the conformation ring or both his blue and silver prodigy's in any of the other multitudes of titling options.
We have chosen to breed the blue colour in our program. One of the reasons is we simply like the colour as many others do and the contraversy seems to be more about politics than an actual health issue or impure weimaraner issue.
