Rick Smith Weekend Summer 2008
The Calgary Pointing Dog Club (CPDC) brought in world class hunt dog trainer Rick Smith this summer for two weekends of intense dog training seminars. The event was held at Wessex Game Farm by Crossfield, AB. The first weekend we attended was for beginners and novices.
The heat of the summer weekend did not take away from the incredible amount of learning and training that occurred.
Rick and his team along with the CPDC put on a first rate weekend, with great opportunities to get our hunting dogs feet wet. As Rick said "the genetics are all here for hunt dogs".
